Grow the 8%*

B.E.A.M. stands for Bilingual Empowerment through Allied Mentorship.

The B.E.A.M. SLP program fosters a community of Bilingual SLPs throughout the country to increase the diversity in the field of Speech-Language Pathology.

*Based on data from ASHA demographics only 8% of SLPs are Bilingual and only 8% of SLPs are Black, Asian, Native American, Pacific Islander, or mixed race.

Beam Team

Meaningful Mentorship

This program started on Instagram and grew through organic connections among Bilingual SLPs from coast to coast. A group of colleagues came together wanting to give back and reach out to future Bilingual SLPs and the Beam SLP Program was born!
